Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Supervisor for Property & Equipment Inventory to oversee the control and accuracy of institutional assets. You will supervise clerks, manage asset systems, and coordinate annual physical inventories, ensuring audit-ready records and policy compliance.

The role requires experience in property control operations, team leadership, and familiarity with inventory management tools.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Six (6) years of related experience is required.
Knowledge of property control operations, asset management, audit requirements, and inventory best practices.
Skilled in supervising and leading teams, coordinating workflows and overseeing performance.

Responsibilities

Provide supervisory oversight to ensure continuity of property control operations and regulatory adherence.
Manage the asset management system to maintain accurate inventory records.
Lead and support a team of property control staff with workflow coordination and guidance.
Plan and conduct annual physical inventories with timely reconciliation of assets.
Oversee recording, tracking and reporting of assets to ensure audit-ready documentation.
Develop and implement an annual inventory training program for compliance and readiness.
Handle service requests related to inventory through TeamDynamix.
Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits and perform spot checks.
