Responsibilities include supervising transport, maintaining inventory accuracy, analyzing reports, and ensuring proper inspection of received materials. Strong collaboration, planning, and communication skills are essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in materials management or related field is required.
• Two years of related material handling experience is required.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff in a team environment.
• Detail oriented with strong planning, organizational and negotiating skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all materials management activities related to storage, production scheduling and inventory control.
• Supervises transport of supplies to and from departments and ensures needs are met.
• Supervises inventory levels and prepares and analyzes reports.
• Ensures inspection of materials against invoices, bills of lading, packing slips, orders.
• Handles shipment discrepancies and ensures resolution.
• Guarantees accuracy of filled requisitions and delivery of materials.
• Plans, organizes, and implements inventory operations and procedures.
• Interviews, recommends employees for hire, and manages training.
• Oversees staff work; appraises productivity and handles complaints.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
