Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Construction Coordinator & Scheduler to support Asset Integrity program execution and repair services activities for a Granite City, IL client.

The role coordinates field execution of repair and construction projects across structural, civil, mechanical, and infrastructure scopes under the Construction Manager's guidance. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in industrial construction or maintenance, with strong organization and communication skills and

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience in construction/engineering tech.
• 3–5 years in industrial construction, maintenance, repair, or field coordination.
• Experience with industrial facilities like power, steel, manufacturing, or chemical industries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day repair/construction activities.
• Plan field activities, scheduling, access, logistics, and work sequencing.
• Communicate with contractors, inspectors, client personnel, and project teams.
• Track progress and report schedule impacts to Construction Manager.
• Support outage/shutdown activities as needed.
• Ensure work packages align with drawings and specs.
• Maintain project documentation and QA/QC records.
