Constellation Inc in Washington, DC is seeking an Operations & Logistics Specialist to support Homeland Security staff across multiple field offices. This hands-on role manages government-issued IT equipment, inventory, and office facilities, ensuring staff have space, supplies, and tools to operate efficiently.

You will maintain tight controls with digital tracking, coordinate facility projects, procure supplies, and handle lifecycle management of laptops and mobiles using PowerApps and related

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in IT asset management, property or inventory management, facilities/office operations, or logistics.
• Ability to safely move equipment such as boxes and small furniture.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
• US citizen able to pass background investigation; DHS clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate office space usage and ensure facilities meet staff needs.
• Procure office supplies for field offices, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Primary contact for field office facility requirements and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure strict internal control and accountability of government equipment.
• Oversee lifecycle of local property management including audits, issuance, purchasing, and excessing.
• Maintain real-time asset data using a PowerApps tracker for audit accuracy.
• Manage lifecycle of high-value IT assets (laptops, mobiles) with tracking software.
