Job summary

Allied Fire Protection is seeking an Asset Coordinator in Pearland, TX to manage daily equipment movement, rental activity, and asset utilization. You will coordinate equipment transfers, monitor rentals, and validate invoices to support efficient project operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, vendor coordination, and ensuring accurate asset records while identifying cost-saving opportunities and escalating issues when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Construction experience a plus.
• Administrative, logistics, or equipment coordination experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment rentals, logistics, transportation scheduling, purchase orders, and asset tracking.
• Familiarity with fleet management, asset tracking, procurement, inventory management, and ERP software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily equipment transportation schedule for drivers and transfers between jobsites.
• Maintain daily lift/trailer locations, availability, and utilization for asset optimization.
• Verify rental availability and issue rental purchase orders; coordinate with vendors.
• Monitor rental duration and costs; identify opportunities to reduce rental and transport costs.
• Review rental invoices and update coding; resolve discrepancies with vendors before AP submission.
• Serve as primary coordination point between project teams, drivers, vendors, and AP.
• Provide timely information to leadership for planning and performance management.
