Job summary

Southern States Material Handling seeks a Wholesale Manager to oversee the end-of-life process for fleet assets, including scrapping, end-of-lease returns, and resale opportunities. You will maximize asset value while maintaining strong relationships with wholesale partners.

This role can sit out of Tampa, Jacksonville or Orlando locations and requires building relationships with Toyota/Raymond dealers and scrap partners. 401(k), health and vision insurance, PTO, holidays, and more are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong network within the used equipment and scrap industry.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Capable of calculating figures including discounts, taxes, and salvage values.
• Highly organized with ability to track assets and communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage disposal, resale, or scrapping of forklifts and fleet assets at end-of-life.
• Build and maintain relationships with wholesale clients, scrap yards, and dealers.
• Coordinate end-of-lease, resale processes, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Develop wholesale sales strategies and monitor market trends.
