Job summary

CAI is seeking an Asset Deployment Specialist to maintain and track hardware and software asset deployment and inventory management. This full-time onsite role is based in Allentown, PA, requiring a strong background in ITAM, asset lifecycle, and Microsoft 365 administration.

You will coordinate with procurement, manage licenses, and ensure asset process policies are followed while delivering cost-effective asset solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of desktop support and inventory management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with ITAM platforms with strong knowledge of asset management tools and software.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Intune, and Autopilot.
• Strong understanding of device and software license management.
• Ability to write and implement ITAM policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven experience in IT asset management, including hardware and software tracking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update inventory records to ensure the accuracy and availability of assets; conduct regular audits to verify asset status and resolve discrepancies
• Manage the work queue for IT Service Management (ITSM) related services, ensuring service requests are tracked and closed in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Act as the primary contact for end users regarding asset inquiries, providing guidance and support for device-related issues
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of devices, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal; ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards
• Track and manage warranties for hardware assets, coordinating with vendors for repairs or replacements as necessary
• Monitor and manage software licenses to ensure compliance and optimize usage; facilitate renewals and address licensing issues proactively
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to procure necessary assets and services, ensuring cost-effective purchasing that aligns with organizational needs
• Administer and manage Microsoft 365 products and services, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings. Provide support for related applications and services
• Generate and present reports on asset status, usage, and performance to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for improvements

Job Summary

We are seeking an Asset Deployment Specialist to maintain and track hardware and software asset deployment and inventory management.

Job Description

We are looking for an Asset Deployment Specialist to implement and maintain asset lifecycle information, track and report on hardware and software assets, and coordinate with procurement to create policies and procedures related to purchasing. This role will also involve continuously evaluating and improving asset management policies and procedures. This position will be full-time and onsite in Allentown, PA.

Only work authorizations not requiring sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.

What You’ll Do

• Certifications in CompTIA A+, ITIL, ITAM, and MS365 highly desirable

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
• Ability to frequently stand, bend, reach, and manually lift or move items up to 50 pounds

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
