Job summary

The City of Amarillo is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to improve asset data accuracy and usability across systems. You will collaborate with field staff, GIS personnel, and asset management teams to support efficiency, regulatory compliance, and long-term planning.

Responsibilities include data standards development, data audits, and supporting dashboards and capital prioritization tools. Strong attention to detail and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of asset management or GIS data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management, or related field.
• Experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro preferred).
• Familiarity with asset management systems (OpenGov-Cartegraph preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data standards for asset records in EAM systems.
• Audit asset data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors.
• Coordinate with GIS to align spatial and asset data across platforms.
• Support dashboards, reports, and capital planning tools.
