Job summary

The City of Amarillo seeks an Asset Management Coordinator to improve asset data accuracy, consistency, and usability across systems. You will partner with field staff, GIS, and enterprise systems to support regulatory compliance and long-term capital planning.

This role emphasizes data integrity, problem solving, and bridging field operations with enterprise data. Responsibilities include data governance, field validation, dashboard/report development, and training staff on data standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in asset management, GIS coordination, or data analysis.
• Experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro preferred).
• Experience with asset management systems (OpenGov–Cartegraph preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data standards for asset records in the EAM system.
• Perform routine audits to identify gaps and improve data quality across asset data.
• Collaborate with GIS to align spatial and asset data across platforms.
