Job summary

The City of Burlington is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to oversee its Asset Management Program, establishing and maintaining CMMS/EAM and GIS systems, training staff, and collaborating with asset managers and GIS users to define workflows and manage data.

Expect active involvement in condition and risk assessments, levels of service, and capital planning, with remote work up to two days per week; union status is Non-Union and the pay grade is 20.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with asset management programs.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM and GIS systems preferred.
• Strong data-management, reporting, and communication skills.
• Public sector experience and ability to work with cross-department teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the General Fund Asset Management Program.
• Coordinate with enterprise utility asset programs and maintain plans.
• Establish and enhance CMMS/EAM workflows and data quality.
• Train staff and build asset-management culture across the organization.
• Develop reports on asset condition, risk, and service levels.
