Job summary

AEP in Corpus Christi, Texas is seeking an entry-level data/record management associate to ensure accurate real-time data for transmission assets. You will coordinate with field teams and use IPS data systems to manage asset attributes and commissioning actions.

The role requires basic data management experience, proficiency in MS Excel, Visio and Outlook, and strong communication skills. Travel may be required and compensation data is provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must have data/record management experience or higher education in engineering technology.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Visio and Outlook; strong data-entry skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform entry-level asset data entry and review.
• Review prints, BOMs and drawings for asset information needed for commissioning.
• Monitor print platform (DS Track) and follow up on overdue records.
• Assist in creating location hierarchies and populating IPS attributes from technical drawings.
• Support IPS data lifecycle and asset status updates after in-servicing.
• Review IPS Audit Trail and resolve errors under supervision.
• Develop process support skills and respond to field questions, troubleshooting and research.
• Assist coordinating Capital Commissioning Checklists and IPS data entry.
• Support reporting and monitoring with PowerBI for overdue actions and commissioning.
