Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a TFS Asset Analyst SG5 to ensure asset data accuracy across the project lifecycle. You will review issued-for-construction data, one-lines, and a bill of materials, resolving discrepancies with engineers and uploading validated assets into the asset database.

The role requires print-reading expertise, data source analysis, and ability to refine Power BI visuals while supporting field and engineering teams. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Print reading of construction/post-construction prints to verify data compliance.
• Review multiple data sources in an organized manner.
• Create station location hierarchy for a project within the database.
• Add capital project assets and asset attributes to the database.
• Utilize Vault and notifications to perform work.
• Track project status through asset entry lifecycle.
• Assist with refining Power BI visualizations of work metrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough comparison of the one line to the new asset form and BOM.
• Resolve discrepancies with engineers and update data accordingly.
• Upload validated project assets into the database.
• Monitor and update project status through the asset lifecycle.
• Provide data support for field and engineering personnel as needed.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement through team discussions.
