Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Brunswick, GA is seeking an Asset Availability Leader to partner with operations, maintenance and reliability teams to improve asset performance and increase machine availability across three paper machines.

You will lead RCFA, own asset loss accounting, and guide asset strategies while developing future mill leaders through collaboration with engineers, co-ops and interns. Strong emphasis on reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a process engineering, maintenance, reliability, or supervisory role within a heavy industrial environment.
• Experience driving change, implementing process improvements, and achieving measurable business results.
• Experience leading or facilitating Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Unplanned Event and RCFA programs to eliminate recurring failures and improve asset performance.
• Own asset loss accounting to identify performance gaps, prioritize opportunities, and improve machine availability.
• Serve as a conduit for escalation to the reliability team, SMEs, and asset care resources for technical support to improve MTBF of repeat bad actors.
• Develop asset strategies across all three paper machine assets.
• Validate and sustain equipment reliability processes, including operator basic care, preventive and predictive maintenance routes.
• Partner with new engineers, co-ops, and interns to help develop future mill leaders.
• Drive visibility to area opportunities and top losses while building department capability around asset performance and reliability improvement.
