Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead RCFA/FMEA efforts and drive maintenance optimization across the Brewton facility. The role focuses on reliability improvements, predictive maintenance, and asset performance to maximize uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, proven reliability experience in industrial settings, and strong skills with MS Office tools to analyze data and report findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Reliability experience in a manufacturing or military environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead RCFA and FMEA to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support Environmental, Health & Safety excellence.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies (vibration analysis, lubrication, oil analysis, NDT).
• Review plans for new equipment to validate reliability and maintainability.
• Analyze KPIs, OEE to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Reliability Engineers on mill-wide reliability strategies.
