As Assessment Manager, you will provide operational leadership across our UK and overseas campuses and online provision, primarily focusing on our collaborative partner London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA). You will play a key role in safeguarding the accuracy, integrity and compliance of assessment outcomes and University awards, while driving continuous improvement across our assessment processes including designing and defining of new process.
This is a full-time permanent position and the role adopts a hybrid approach spending time working remotely and 2
days a week at one of our UK ULaw Campuses.
As Our Assessment Manager, you WillLead and develop a small team of Business Professional colleagues, managing workload, performance and development while creating a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.
Lead the results publication, progression and awards processes across the University and partnership.
Oversee Exam and Award Boards, results calculations, transcripts, certificates and graduation eligibility.
Work closely with programme teams, collaborative partners and external examiners to ensure marking standards and assessment outcomes are appropriately managed.
Develop strong operational relationships with collaborative partners, acting as a key point of contact and escalation.
Monitor partner performance against agreed service levels and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Provide expert advice on complex and non-standard assessment cases, regulations and policies.
Support the integrity of assessments and awards,
including academic misconduct processes.
Acting as a technical expert and superuser for assessment systems, including Banner, identifying system improvements and developing effective solutions where automated processes are not available.
