Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Entry-level position with generally less than 1 year of experience.
• IPC Soldering Certification is a plus.
• Able to read assembly documentation, blueprints, and/or wire lists.
• Familiar with using small hand tools (soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers).
• Familiar with general computer operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature.
• Assemble and/or install electrical and mechanical components following established documentation and sequence.
• Prepare for assembly tasks such as cutting, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts, wiring, and fastening terminal connections.
• Operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment as needed.

• Are comfortable using small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
  
• Are familiar with general computer operation.
  
• Can lift up to 35 pounds.
