Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Assembly Worker - 2nd Shift to join our Chelmsford, MA manufacturing team. The role involves electromechanical subassembly and assembly tasks, following documented sequences, with an emphasis on quality and safety.

Typical day includes preparing components, wiring and fastening terminal connections, and operating automation equipment. We require a High School Diploma or equivalent; entry-level experience is acceptable; IPC Soldering Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Entry-level with generally less than 1 year of experience is acceptable (QSR experience a plus).
• IPC Soldering Certification is a plus.
• Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints and/or wire lists.
• Must be comfortable using small hand tools (soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers).
• Must be familiar with general computer operation and be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature.
• Assemble and/or install electrical and mechanical components following established documentation and sequence.
• Prepare for assembly tasks such as cutting, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connections.
• Operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment as needed.
