Job summary

KI in Manitowoc is seeking a Paint line & Assembly Technician to join the Paint Department. You will help bring high-quality products to life through powder coating and finishing processes.

No prior experience required — we train you. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday 6am–2pm shift and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required – we'll train you!
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform frequent bending.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Hang hooks and parts on the paint line based on production priorities.
• Apply powder coat paint manually to parts.
• Perform color changeovers efficiently.
• Tape and protect parts from scratches as they come off the line.
• Inspect, pack, and assemble parts as needed.
• Support final assembly by ensuring timely delivery of painted components.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts like Kaizen events.
• Share ideas and help reduce downtime to improve productivity.
