Job summary

KI seeks a full-time Paintline Technician for the Green Bay facility on 2nd shift (2pm–10pm, Mon-Fri). Starting at $19/hour with a $2.00/hour shift premium, plus a raise within the first year. Join a team that delivers focused, quality furniture components and supports operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a paintline environment.

Responsibilities

• Hang hooks and parts on the Paint line following priorities.
• Manually apply powder paint to production parts.
• Perform paint color changeovers.
• Tape parts coming down from the line to prevent scratches.
• Inspect and pack parts off the line; assemble if necessary.
• Keep record of bad parts; perform JIT scan.

Job Description

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Paintline Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

• Hang hooks and parts on the Paint line following the identified priorities
• Manually apply powder paint to production parts
• Perform paint color changeovers
• Tape parts coming down from the line to prevent scratches
• Inspect & pack parts off the line (assemble if necessary)
• Keep record of bad parts
• JIT scan

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift

• This is a 2nd Shift position
• Hours are 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday
• Overtime during our busy season
• Starting rate of pay is $19/hour plus a shift premium of $2.00/hour
