Socket.dev is seeking an Assembly Technician Level-2 to handle electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly tasks, including decontamination, point-to-point wiring, hipot test, and interpreting schematics. Reports to Production Supervisor and supports Level-1 staff.
The role requires high attention to quality and the ability to work across product lines, with opportunities to advance to Assembly Technician Level-3. This is a second shift position (3:00 pm to 1:00 am) with limited travel.
The Assembly Technician Level - 2 will be responsible for the following elements of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly: decontamination of tools or equipment; point-to-point wiring, hipot test; mechanical and electrical tool assembly with components; ability to comprehend and describe schematics/drawings. This list is not all inclusive but is representative of the jobs performed by an Assembly Technician Level - 2. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

The Assembly Technician – Level 2 responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
4. Comprehension and use of electrical and mechanical schematics, engineering releases, and flow plans. This will also require the technician to highlight oversights or inaccuracies with documentation.
This position requires in-depth knowledge of all areas of responsibility. He or she must be organized, articulate, forthright, work well under pressure and have a positive communications style. The jobholder will be required to ensure quality workmanship and promote professional behavior.
Education / Technical: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: A minimum of 2.5 years’ experience as an Assembly Technician – Level 1 (Shellback Semiconductor Technologies) or equivalent experience from another assembly position.
