Shellback Semiconductor Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician Level 2 for the second shift (3:00 pm – 1:00 am) in Lehigh County, PA. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly, including decontamination of tools and hipot testing, and requires the ability to read and describe schematics and drawings.

You will perform point-to-point wiring, integrate sub-assemblies, and ensure precise assembly across multiple product lines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Purpose, Scope, Organization

The Assembly Technician Level - 2 will be responsible for the following elements of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly: decontamination of tools or equipment; point-to-point wiring, hipot test; mechanical and electrical tool assembly with components; ability to comprehend and describe schematics/drawings. This list is not all inclusive but is representative of the jobs performed by an Assembly Technician Level - 2. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

*This is a second shift position (3:00 pm to 1:00 am)*

Responsibilities

The Assembly Technician – Level 2 responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Perform point-to-point wiring of various electrical assemblies to precise specifications.
2. Ability to integrate sub-assemblies and components into a tool build based on various instruction methods and to precise specifications.

4. Comprehension and use of electrical and mechanical schematics, engineering releases, and flow plans. This will also require the technician to highlight oversights or inaccuracies with documentation.

1. Mechanical and electrical understanding of multiple product lines; ability to work on both electrical and mechanical assemblies and integration with limited support on one platform (e.g. SRD, Mercury, Torrent, Storm).
2. Ability to decontaminate assemblies and equipment.
3. Work in multiple environments, generally contributing to one product platform.
4. Mentor/instruct employees who are classified as Assembly Technician – Level 1.
5. Develop the necessary skills to be promoted to Assembly Technician – Level 3.
6. Any other duties assigned by supervision.
