Responsibilities
- Assemble finished products using various part sizes with a strong attention to detail.
- Follow detailed work instructions and related documentation to maintain high‑quality standards and meet production schedules.
- Label products and perform initial packaging to prepare items for shipping.
- Conduct visual inspections of assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Utilize basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as required.
- Ensure proper handling, use, and disposal of chemicals, substances, and materials in the waste stream, where applicable.
- Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, policies, and work practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as quality, safety improvement, and HPT participation.
- Follow standard work, Day by Day, TIB, and other operational metrics.
Who We Are Looking For
- Working knowledge of hand tools.
- Proficiency in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and basic division).
- Ability to effectively read, interpret, and follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and cooperation in performing other duties as assigned (will work in various cells).
- Ability to work overtime, as needed.
Minimum Required Education And Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous Lean Manufacturing experience.
Ideally, You Will Also Have
- One (1) year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous Lean Manufacturing experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel to and from the primary work location.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods (up to 4 hours at a time).
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, occasionally.
