Job summary

Cambria Corporation | Sensors and Systems is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the Seattle-based production team. You will assemble mechanical and electronic sensor components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment, following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.

Daily duties include mechanical assembly, wiring, and soldering, with inspection of components to ensure quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools for precision assembly work.
• Experience with Soldering and basic electronic assembly techniques.
• Reading and following assembly drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including inspection, testing, and documentation of assembled products.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics, mechanics, or manufacturing is beneficial.

• Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assembly Technician role based in Seattle, WA. The Assembly Technician will assemble mechanical and electronic sensor components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment, following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. Daily responsibilities include performing mechanical assembly, wiring, and soldering tasks, inspecting parts and assemblies for defects, and verifying that products meet quality and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers and production team members to troubleshoot assembly issues, maintain organized workstations, and support continuous improvement of production processes. The Assembly Technician will also complete documentation related to production, testing, and quality control, and adhere to all workplace safety procedures.
