Qualifications

Position Summary:

An Assembly Technician builds, assembles, and tests products or components (pumps, fluid ends, and flow line products) using hand/power tools, reading blueprints/schematics, following precise instructions, and performing quality checks to ensure functionality and standards are met, requiring strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills for a smooth production workflow.

Knowledge / Skills / Expertise:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with basic tools, mechanical aptitude, and ability to read diagrams.
• Manual dexterity, good hand‑eye coordination, physical stamina, ability to lift.

Safety, Environmental Conditions and Work Environment:

• Exposure to certain contaminants, at times.
• Exposure to loud noise levels, at times.
• Duties performed in office, and production shop, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
• It can be fast paced.
• Required personal protective equipment when in designated areas.

Tools and Equipment Used:

• Standard office and warehouse equipment
• Use of various hand tools and power tools.

Physical Demands:

• Stand, bend, sit, stoop, crawl, squat, kneel, lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and walk for 8-10 hours per day.
• Regularly required to hear and talk.
• Must have the ability to see close.
• Be able to withstand exposure to Production Environment.
• Be able to tolerate high noise levels with the protection of earplugs.
