Job summary

Cambria Corporation | Sensors and Systems is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the Seattle-based production team. You will assemble mechanical and electronic sensor components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment, following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.

Daily duties include mechanical assembly, wiring, and soldering, with inspection of components to ensure quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools for precision assembly work.
• Experience with Soldering and basic electronic assembly techniques.
• Reading and following assembly drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including inspection, testing, and documentation of assembled products.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics, mechanics, or manufacturing is beneficial.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain attention to detail, and meet production deadlines.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment, standing for extended periods, and handling small components.
• Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic sensor components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment per drawings.
• Perform mechanical assembly, wiring and soldering; inspect parts for defects.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot assembly issues.
• Maintain organized workstations and support continuous improvement of production processes.
• Complete documentation related to production, testing, and quality control; adhere to safety procedures.
