Job summary

Staffmark Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Assembly Technician to support production lines with mechanical assembly, testing, and quality checks. You’ll read schematics, gather parts, and perform helium leak testing with training provided, while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; pay is $18–$20 per hour with weekly pay. Experience with hand and power tools, basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to perform repetitive tasks is required or preferred; high school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or cleanroom assembly experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Cable and harness assembly experience preferred.
• Helium leak testing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies following work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, parts lists, and assembly instructions.
• Gather materials, tools, and components for production needs.
• Perform product testing and helium leak testing (training provided).
• Troubleshoot basic assembly issues.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
• Assemble fast and clean pieces, handle simple tools, double-check work before shipment, wrap and prep orders, and follow safety steps.

• Visually inspect products and components for quality
