Job summary

KI is seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to join the Wall Department in Manitowoc. The role involves assembling wall panels, cutting plastics, and material handling across multiple work centers to fulfill orders while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, can operate a tape measure, and works well in a team with good communication. Shift runs 6am–2pm Monday–Friday with occasional overtime, starting wages around $19/hour with experience-based

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Cut plastic materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Assemble wall panels according to specifications.
  • Handle materials and manage inventory in the department warehouse.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Glazing- accurately cutting, bundling & labeling of parts.
  • Plastics & Aluminum Cutting- accurately cutting, documenting, & inspecting of parts.
  • Edging- operate glue unit & spray gun and pull trim corners for shells.
  • Filler Panel- assemble shells into frame, use nip roller.
  • Assembly of Mushrooms & Stiffeners- assemble components and operate nip roller.

Location: Manitowoc

Shift Hours: 6am to 2pm Monday through Friday with Occasional Overtime

We offer competitive base wages starting at $19.00/hour, with pay increasing based on experience.

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our Wall Department. The ideal candidate will work across multiple work centers, contributing to various tasks including assembling wall panels, material handling, cutting plastic, pulling product from warehouse for orders and maintaining a neat and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut plastic materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Assemble wall panels according to specifications.
  • Handle materials and manage inventory in the department warehouse.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Glazing- accurately cutting, bundling & labeling of parts
  • Plastics & Aluminum Cutting- accurately cutting, documenting, & inspecting of parts
  • Genius Corners- properly grove & bend sliding door covers & genius corner base covers
  • Edging- properly operating mini-melt glue unit & spray gun as well as pulling trim corners for fabric tack-able shells
  • Filler Panel- Correctly assemble shells into frame, use of nip roller
  • Assembly of Mushrooms & Stiffeners- assemble stiffeners & mushrooms to shells, operate nip roller & staple tack-able shells
Qualifications
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
