Job summary

Our client, a manufacturer in agricultural equipment, is seeking a hands-on Fan Assembly Technician to join their Operations team onsite. You will fabricate, assemble, and package fan units across multiple work centers, helping keep production running smoothly and to spec.

This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for the full shift, and working Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. A forklift license and basic math/paperwork skills are needed; the team embraces safety, quality, and

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and package fan units across work centers.

  • Complete timecards, production cards, parts tags, and scrap reports.
  • Verify parts meet quality standards and count accurately for packaging tasks.
  • Set up assigned jobs and move parts as needed.

A Day in the Life of a Fan Assembly Technician

In this role, you'll fabricate, assemble, and package fan units across multiple work centers, helping keep production running smoothly and to spec. Your work directly supports the company's ability to deliver quality equipment on time, every time, and you'll be part of a team that's actively driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities include:
  • Performing fabrication and assembly operations for designated fan models in the fan line and Hemi fan work centers
  • Completing fabrication, assembly, and packaging tasks across all department work centers
  • Following company methods, safety protocols, and quality/quantity standards on every job
  • Accurately completing required paperwork (timecards, production cards, parts tags, scrap reports, work order sheets)
  • Verifying parts meet quality standards and using scales to confirm accurate counts on packaging jobs
  • Setting up assigned jobs as needed
  • Moving parts and loads into and out of the workstation
  • Keeping the work area clean and organized
  • Actively participating in lean and continuous improvement initiatives
  • First shift, Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift license
  • Able to read English, perform basic math, and accurately complete required paperwork
  • Able to accurately count parts and follow job procedures
  • Good manual dexterity for assembly work
  • Strong quality and safety mindset
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs to shoulder height
  • Able to stand for a full 8-hour shift
  • Ability to work 1st shift; Monday - Friday, 5am - 3:30pm
