Tree Top Staffing LLC is recruiting an experienced Assembly Lead for a full-time opportunity with an established precision manufacturing organization in Rockford, Illinois.

The Assembly Lead is responsible for assembling products and components per work instructions, drawings, and quality standards while guiding a team of assemblers on the shop floor, ensuring output meets schedule and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and BOMs.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Strong problem solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Provide daily direction and hands-on support to assembly team members.
• Train and mentor new and existing assemblers on work instructions and tooling.
• Troubleshoot assembly, tooling, and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and complete production documentation.
