Job summary

Advanced Machine & Engineering is seeking a full-time Assembly Lead for the 1st shift in Rockford, IL. You will oversee the assembly of the Workflow Automation System components, mentor assemblers, and ensure compliance with work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.

You will lead daily success meetings, coordinate tasks, troubleshoot issues, and document production activity to support on-time delivery and continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years manufacturing or assembly experience; lead/trainer or team coordination preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products following work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Direct multiple sub-assembly stations and coordinate work assignments.
• Train and mentor new assemblers on work instructions and quality standards.
• Lead daily success meetings to monitor production targets and communicate status.
