Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Team Lead (Assembly) for the 3rd shift (8:00 pm to 6:00 am) at our on-site facility. You will assist the Supervisor in coordinating and motivating the assembly team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

The role focuses on coaching, training, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities including planning, meetings, and evaluating performance while ensuring adherence to standard work and lean principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years’ manufacturing or repair experience in similar environment.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Drive for results.
• Preferred: Vocational School training and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety initiatives and regulations.
• Support Engineering Labor Standards and Lean culture initiatives.
• Assist in planning and managing personnel, technology, and materials; support meetings; contribute to evaluations.
• Communicate with peers, supervisors, and engineers to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Provide coaching, training, and skill development; promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Review PC boards, audit standard work, diagnose production issues, and support related duties.
