Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks an ICT Manufacturing Assembly Systems Specialist/SME to serve as the design authority for Assembly Plant floor systems across North America. You own end-to-end systems, ensure data integrity, and maintain compliance for quality- and shipment-critical processes from order to vehicle shipment.

You will lead cross-plant programs, standardize solutions, manage incidents, and drive modernization through automation, analytics, and AI/ML.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience supporting manufacturing systems, plant operations, or quality-critical applications in automotive/industrial settings.
• Experience with enterprise mainframe technologies used in manufacturing (COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, JCL, VSAM, MQ).
• Excellent communication, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence across functions, lead without authority, and operate under pressure.
• Demonstrated experience as technical lead or SME for production-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction for quality-critical manufacturing applications.
• Ensure production stability, data integrity, and availability of quality systems.
• Lead incident, problem, and risk management for production issues.
• Drive standardization and minimize plant-specific customization.
• Participate in modernization using automation, analytics, AI/ML and data quality improvements.
• Translate business requirements into executable scopes for suppliers.
• Oversee delivery to schedule, budget, and quality.
• Provide executive updates on status, risk, and decisions.
• Oversee strategic suppliers ensuring SLAs, cybersecurity, and quality.
