Job summary

Stellantis Auburn Hills is seeking a Manager, Vehicle Process Engineering to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for vehicle assembly. You will own PFMEA governance and drive launch readiness across programs.

You will lead a team of process engineers, push Lean Six Sigma improvements, and ensure standardized, safe, high-quality SOPs while coordinating with Product, Manufacturing, Quality, and Launch teams on programs and launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required. Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in manufacturing or process engineering in automotive.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams and PFMEA governance.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and AIAG/VDA Core Tools.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead PFMEA development, governance, and updates across vehicle assembly.
• Own station launches readiness and pilot for new programs.
• Drive cross-functional programs with Product, Manufacturing, Quality, and Launch teams.
• Standardize processes and improve capability (Cp/Cpk) using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Track launch metrics and resolve issues before SOP.
