Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a senior engineer to lead technical development and delivery of chassis systems across vehicle programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and drive trade-offs to meet performance, quality, cost, and timing goals.

Domestic and international travel to suppliers and Stellantis plants is required, leveraging strong leadership and program management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience.
• Proficient in DFMEA, DVP&R, PDP and change processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of chassis system design and product development processes.
• Proven leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams and set targets.
• Willingness to travel to supplier locations and Stellantis plants domestically and internationally.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development and delivery of chassis systems for assigned vehicle programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve program milestones and vehicle targets.
• Manage technical risks, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
• Monitor and report program KPIs, status, and readiness.
• Drive technical trade-off decisions balancing performance, quality, cost, and timing.
• Support vehicle launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Interface with Program CVEs, Technical Managers, Platform Program Leaders, suppliers, and engineering.
