Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead a team of 15–20 assemblers on first shift in Valencia, CA. You will drive production schedules, maintain safety and quality, and partner with planning to ensure on-time customer shipments.

The role demands 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and specs. On-site work with a focus on continuous improvement and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related operations.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience interpreting blueprints, technical specifications, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily assembly operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
• Assign work and prioritize tasks based on production schedules and resources.
• Coordinate with planning and scheduling teams to ensure timely completion and shipment.
• Mentor and develop assemblers, fostering accountability, high performance and continuous improvement.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering directives to guide assembly and resolve issues.
• Maintain safety, quality, and operational excellence across all assembly activities.
