Job summary

Ariel Corporation in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking an Operational Supervisor for Assembly to lead floor activities, drive safety, quality and productivity, and coach a team toward continuous improvement.

You will balance production demands with employee development, provide clear direction, and ensure accountability while maintaining a strong team. Night shifts are available with Monday-Thursday weekdays and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in Operations Leadership in Assembly or a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required
• Ability to coach, develop, mentor, and lead a team
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
• Self-motivated and self-managed with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead activities on the production floor to meet safety, quality and productivity standards
• Coach, develop, and mentor employees and provide clear direction
• Balance operational demands with employee development to keep production moving
• Maintain accountability and drive continuous improvement in the team
• Oversee night shifts and weekend rotations, with a Monday-Thursday schedule and weekend coverage
