Job summary

ATCO Rubber Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the Assembly area in Sacramento, CA. The role requires leading a team of 35-50 hourly employees on the first shift, onsite, with a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM schedule.

You will oversee productivity, uptime, safety, and quality, coordinating with the Plant Manager and supervisors to meet production goals. The position includes hiring, discipline, and training responsibilities, with a focus on a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team of 35-50 hourly employees.
• Meet or exceed production schedules and goals.
• Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with Plant manager to resolve challenges and improve processes.
• Serve as shift leader to motivate and improve productivity and quality.
• Oversee hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions; manage schedules and records.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations and proper training.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate expectations.
• Minimize downtime and reduce scrap or waste.
