ATCO - PRODUCTION LEAD - Assembly (Crawfordsville, IN) - Onsite 2nd Shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Production LEAD who has exceptional supervisory and leadership skills to lead a production team of 35-50 hourly employees in Crawfordsville, Indiana. This position will supervise and monitor employees' productivity and oversee the safe use of equipment in a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBLITY

• Responsible for the quality, production output, and efficiencies of machines.
• Meet or exceed all production schedules and set goals
• Assign responsibilities to production employees and monitor their performance
• Coordinates with Plant manager and other supervisors to resolve production challenges, recommends improvements to processes, and ensures alignment with organizational goals
• Serves as the shift leader, motivates and guides employees to improve productivity, product quality, and efficiency.
• Conducts and supports hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions; manages production schedules and ensures all records are accurate and up to date
• Ensure all employees are trained to work safely and efficiently
• Effectively counsel employees per company policies
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate expectations
• Maintain production equipment running and reduce unplanned downtime
• Monitor, control and reduce scrap or waste
• Motive employees to achieve production targets
• Promote a positive and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
