Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, Assembly Projects and Process Improvement to lead safe, lean, cost-effective manufacturing processes for Assembly operations.

You will drive New Capital Introduction projects, validate equipment, and collaborate across Operations, Quality, Safety and Supply Chain to improve safety, quality, velocity and cost. The role requires hands-on manufacturing engineering on the production floor, data analysis, layout development, supplier coordination,

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering or related field.
• Proficient in PFMEA, Control Plans, process flow documentation and risk analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering activities for New Capital Introduction and related projects.
• Benchmark existing processes to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Develop current-state and future-state layouts, workstations, material flows and process flows.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Supply Chain and engineering teams.
• Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, process design reviews and risk assessments.
