Job summary

Kelly Services in Fairview, NC seeks an Assembly Operator for a temporary-to-hire role. You will assemble components with various tools, adhere to work instructions, and contribute to quality production. Overtime may apply on Saturdays as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills, with prior manufacturing experience preferred. You will work 2nd shift with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM training shift and 3:00 PM–11:30 PM working shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.
• Experience using measuring devices (gauges, calipers) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect own work using established quality standards and work instructions.
• Conduct pull tests as needed for specific operations.
• Measure components using calipers, gauges, or other measuring devices.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet print specifications.
• Complete necessary operational paperwork to maintain product traceability.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment as necessary.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area.
• Follow company and department guidelines, procedures, and safety policies.
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
• Read and perform tasks according to product drawings.
