Job summary

Kelly Services seeks an Assembly Operator I in Fairview, NC to assemble components per instructions for aerospace relays and switches. You will work with measuring tools and perform inspections to ensure quality while maintaining a clean workstation and adhering to safety policies.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and teamwork; overtime may be required to meet production goals. Training on 1st shift is provided for ~6–8 weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Experience using measuring devices, such as gages and calipers, preferred.
• Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and remain seated/standing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to drawings, work instructions, and department procedures.
• Inspect completed work using quality standards and work instructions.
• Conduct pull tests as required for specific operations.
• Measure components using calipers, gages, and other measuring devices.
• Inspect products according to prints and specifications.
• Complete required paperwork to maintain product traceability.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs when needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping and organization of the work area.
• Follow company, department, and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.
