Job summary

Flex‑N‑Gate is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 2nd shift in Battle Creek, MI to perform manufacturing tasks. The role includes loading components into machines, completing production and inspection reports, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Pay starts at $20.55 per hour with scheduled increases at 3 months and 6 months, plus a $0.75 shift differential and an attendance bonus. Candidates should have about 1 year of manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of previous manufacturing experience in fast paced environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Perform basic math skills including working with percentages and fractions.
• Ability to use and understand quality gauges, quality fixtures.
• Ability to work in a factory environment- standing, bending. Lifting up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Loading components into machine or onto conveyor system.
• Will complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Hourly inspection of parts.
• Packing finished product various totes/ bins

Assembly Operator - 2nd shift

Work hours are 3:00 pm to 11 pm.

Work a straight 8 hours shift with a paid lunch.

Pay rate starts at $20.55/ hour with scheduled pay increase at 3 months and 6 months of employment.

Additional $0.75 shift differential for 2nd shift.

Eligible for monthly attendance bonus first full month of employment.
