Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an Assembly Associate Team Leader (ATL) to assist the Assembly Team Leader in guiding Machine Operators, Assembly Expeditors, and Production Team Members in a USDA-regulated facility.

Responsibilities include daily operations, safety compliance, and coordination with Store Support teams. This role requires a BA/BS or equivalent, 18+ months in food production, and supervisory experience to drive a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 18+ months of food production facility experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, environmental health and safety, and OSHA.
• Intermediate computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ability to learn custom applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily assembly operations with the Team Leader, assign tasks, and ensure production targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, FSMA, HACCP, and other safety standards.
• Assist with interviewing, training, and developing team members to maintain a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with supervisors and TMS on team member relations and investigations.
