Job summary

ofi North America is hiring for an Assembly position on the packaging line and raw material processing. Reporting to the Line Lead, you will help ensure safety, quality and production goals while following SOPs and maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities include supporting a safety culture, performing CCP and Redzone checks, coordinating with quality and warehouse teams, and rotating between lines as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends.
• Knowledge of GMP, Food Safety and HACCP applicable to a food plant.
• Able to stand/walk up to 100% of the workday and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Model and support a safety and food safety culture for the facility
• Ensure tasks are completed safely, timely, following SOPs and quality specs
• Participate in master sanitation scheduling
• Attend daily meetings and provide status during shift handoff
• Complete required training including safety, compliance, food safety and quality
• Support inclusion and employee engagement
• Adjust processing equipment as needed
• Support plant functions including quality and warehouse daily
• Assist and rotate to other lines as scheduled or needed
• Perform CCP and Redzone checks throughout production facility
• Monitor packaging lines to backfill for other assembly employees
• Stage and prepare raw materials for production use
• Report hazardous conditions to plant leadership promptly
• Attend and participate in company safety committees
• Maintain satisfactory attendance, including timeliness
• Commit to quality, food safety, legality and integrity
• Understand and comply with safety, quality and environmental regulations
• Demonstrate teamwork
• Perform other duties as assigned
