Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Georgia is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our shift-based production team. You will set up and operate department equipment, assemble and disassemble machinery, and maintain strict GMPs to ensure safe food production.

Responsibilities include gathering, prepping, and weighing raw materials, calculating daily production needs, forecasting raw material inventory, and communicating needs to other support areas. Heavy lifting and multi-skill flexibility required.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe working habits.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good human relations skills and be a team player.
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must understand Lockout/Tagout compliance requirements.
• Must possess basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating all equipment in the department.
• Assembling and disassembling equipment.
• Practicing GMPs to ensure food safe products are manufactured.
• Gathering, prepping, and weighing raw materials.
• Calculating daily production needs.
• Forecasting inventory of raw materials.
• Communicating production needs to support areas.
• Completing all required paperwork.
