Job summary

TEAM Industries in Bagley, MN is hiring an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to develop and design assembly fixturing and tooling for process control. You will review drawings, create control plans, PFMEA, and flow charts to ensure safe, efficient assembly operations.

Responsibilities include creating fixtures, improving processes, and coordinating APQP activities. Requires 4-year degree and 3–5 years in assembly process development with Lean principles.

Qualifications

  • Requires a 4-year degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in assembly process development, line layout, fixture design, and manufacturing test equipment.
  • Working experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with Pro-Engineering, Product View, or 2-D AutoCad.
  • Experience with PLCs, Robotics/Automation, SPC, GR&R.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing BOM management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design assembly fixturing/tooling to control and improve assembly processes.
  • Review prints and revisions to ensure control plans, process flow charts and PFMEA are available.
  • Design and develop assembly test equipment and fixtures to meet specs.
  • Develop manufacturing processes and procedures for safety, quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate CIP improvements and track cost savings.
  • Develop standard work documents, control plans and process flow charts for new products.
