Join Our Team as an Assembly Machine Operator at SCHERDEL North America

Location: Muskegon, MI

Essential Functions:

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies following standard work instructions, ensuring quality and precision.
• Perform inspections, including visual and gauge-based, to verify parts meet specifications and SPC standards in collaboration with the Quality team.
• Support machine setup, tooling changes, and perform basic maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or process abnormalities promptly to supervisors.
• Rotate through various stations to promote ergonomic safety, workload balance, and standardized work practices.
• Assist in training new employees and support cross-training efforts for team flexibility.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S or lean manufacturing principles.
• Work independently with attention to detail, and be flexible to work overtime and adapt to production needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing process feedback and participating in activities.
• Adhere to SCHERDEL’s quality, environmental, and customer requirements.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Shift Details:
