Work Environment

This position is based in Wyoming, focusing on metals. The role involves working with balers to bale metals in a loud environment, requiring PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, high visibility clothing, steel-toed shoes, and gloves. The plant temperature varies, so indoor comfort may fluctuate.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as hi-lo, loader, forklift, sweeper, and small loader safely
• Assist with loading, unloading, grading, inspecting, and transporting materials
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Identify material grades and types using standard tests
• Maintain property and prepare reports
• Diagnose mechanical issues and notify maintenance as needed
• Complete required paperwork

Qualifications

• Six months of experience operating small equipment (hi-lo, loader, forklift, scissor lift) preferred
• Knowledge of equipment operation and preventative maintenance
• Loader and hi-lo experience required
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and operational accuracy
