Job summary

TrafFix Devices, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Lead to support the Shift Supervisor by ensuring the proper application of sheeting material on finished products, while meeting quality and quantity standards and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

You will oversee assembly staff, provide feedback, verify counts, train employees, and collaborate on process improvements to help the team meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Oversee assembly staff to meet specs for quality and quantity.
• Provide feedback to ensure safe and effective work practices.
• Lead by example to maintain high production standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists oversee the work of all Assembly employees to meet quality and production standards.
• Trains and mentors team members on processes and safety.
• Verifies production counts at shift start and end.
• Ensures proper measurement, cutting and placement of sheeting materials.
• Inspects finished work for defects and alignment.
• Maintains tools and equipment and trains employees on safe use.
• Coordinates team activities to follow procedures efficiently.
• Provides feedback to supervisor on performance and improvement.
