Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions is seeking an Assembly Lead to bridge leadership and the production floor. You will lead by example, support daily operations, develop employees, solve problems, and ensure safe, efficient work with high quality for customers.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on leadership, passion for developing people, and a drive to improve processes, delivering measurable results through teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical college certificate preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with leadership responsibilities.
• 2-4 years of leadership experience preferred (lead, trainer, mentor or supervisor).
• Ability to motivate teams, maintain a positive environment, and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor by setting the example for safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
• Coordinate schedules, adjust priorities, and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Coach employees, answer questions, and help team members succeed.
• Drive SQDC performance by monitoring results and reinforcing expectations.
• Identify and resolve production challenges before they impact delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to keep communications flowing.
• Support training and development to build future leaders.
• Champion continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve productivity.
